Hospital

In cooperation with the Benedictine Sisters the Ndanda Hospital was completely rebuilt. It has 300 beds, which are generally overcrowded, is well equipped and functions somehow as a referring hospital for the Lindi and Mtwara regions. Closely connected to it is the Mwena leper colony with over 500 patients, which fortunately decrease remarkably and in their place we start up a kind of a center of Aids patients.
